Time Tickets

Priority registration occurs during the first two weeks of registration. During this time, populations of students will become eligible to register for the upcoming term based on group identification or earned credit hours.

Priority registration groups include student-athletes and other specialized groups.

Registration takes place over a number of days. Students become eligible to register in each weekday (Monday through Friday only) every hour beginning at 8:00 AM CST and ending at 4:00 PM CST based on earned credit, highest to lowest.

What is a time ticket?

Your time ticket indicates your priority registration time, which is when your registration window opens.

Time ticket assignments

Time tickets are based on group identification and earned hours. Earned credits refers to coursework which has been completed and graded. Courses in-progress do not factor into this calculation.

Time ticket changes

Time ticketing is designed to be most equitable for all students. Time tickets may not be changed.

Earned credit hours

Credits associated with in-progress courses are not included in earned hours.

For cohorts that started in Fall 2021 and beyond, AP/IB/A-Level credits do not count toward a student's priority registration time. Entering cohorts prior to Fall 2021 will continue to have their priority registration time calculated based on all earned hours, including AP/IB/A-level credit.
