If your original diploma was lost or destroyed, please provide the following information with your request for replacement:
If your original diploma was damaged, return the damaged diploma to the Registrar’s Office at the above address along with a request for a replacement. Diplomas that are reordered without the return of the original are marked "Duplicate". The marking is an inconspicuous spot at the bottom of the diploma and is easily covered when the diploma is framed.
If the original diploma is to be replaced because of a name change, please provide a copy of the legal document indicating the name change (i.e. birth certificate, marriage license, driver's license, etc.) along with your request for a replacement.
Please include a phone number and the address to where you would like the diploma sent. It will take one to two weeks to receive the diploma once your order is received. Replacement diplomas will have the signatures of the current administration.
The cost of replacing a diploma is $50.00. A check or money order made payable to Tulane University should accompany your request. You may also pay by credit card (Master Card or Visa only) by calling the Registrar’s Office. Please do not include credit card numbers in mailed or emailed communications.
Tulane University does not keep copies of diplomas. You should always maintain your original diploma. If you need a certified copy of your Tulane University diploma, please forward a photocopy of your diploma to our office at the address above and it will be certified and forwarded per your instructions. The cost for certified diploma copies is $10.00 per copy. A check or money order made payable to Tulane University should accompany your request. You may also pay by credit card (Master Card or Visa only) by calling the Registrar’s Office. Please do not include credit card numbers in mailed or emailed communications.
